 Meet Our StaffWe would like to say "hello" and take a moment to introduce ourselves to you. We are new to the Arthur Murray-Jacksonville team from our sister studio in Minneapolis, MN. We are most looking forward to the friendly people and the warm weather! While we are new to the studio, we're not new to dancing or to Arthur Murray.
Sho Rich- Dance Director Born a dancer, I have had a lifetime passion for dancing. After many successful years of dancing and coaching ballet, I explored an interest in theater, stage managing, and choreography for various forms of dance. These interests led me to the world of Ballroom dancing with Arthur Murray. Trading in my tights for Latin Pants, I enjoy sharing my passion of dance with my students. I am excited for the opportunity to teach, train, and develop my professional dancing with Karena. I appreciate that at Arthur Murray it's never too late to discover the joy of dancing. Whether you are 19 or 90, everyone can learn to dance! Karena Shackel- Studio Manager I knew in High School that I wanted to dance like Ginger Rogers! A series of fortunate events led me to get a dance degree and, shortly after, begin my life as an Arthur Murray Professional. I have been a teacher, competitor, dance director, and supervisor. Now, I'm looking forward to managing the Jacksonville studio and developing my professional dancing with Sho. I am not only passionate about dancing, but teaching! I love that Arthur Murray opens the door to possibilities. You are better than you think, and never know what's possible or how good you can be! |
